JDG Associates, Inc. seeks experienced, certified EEO contractors with a minimum of five years experience in conducting federal EEO investigations, counseling, mediation, and writing final agency decisions.

You must have extensive knowledge of Title VII, the ADEA, the ADA, the Rehabilitation Act, and the Equal Pay Act. Excellent writing and analytical skills are required. Degree preferred but not required.

Requirements

Investigator Requirements: You must have five years experience in investigating EEO complaints for the federal government at the GS-9 level or above or have conducted 15 federal EEO investigations in the last two years. You must have the ability to complete a high quality (substance, spelling, grammar), legally-sufficient investigation report within 45 days and may be required to obtain security clearances for specific assignments. Private sector and state work cannot be substituted for federal experience.

Counselor Requirements: You must have five years experience in providing EEO counselor duties (full-time or collateral duty) for the federal government at the GS-9 level or above or have conducted 15 counseling assignments in the last two years. You must have the ability to complete a quality (substance, spelling, grammar) case within 30 days.

Mediator Requirements: You must have five years experience in mediating employment conflict and two years minimum in mediating EEO complaints.

FAD Writer: You must have five years experience in EEO, specifically as an investigator or FAD writer. Law degree preferred but not required.

Certification: All Investigators and Counselors are required to complete 32-hour training (if applicable) and maintain annual 8-hour recertification.

To be considered for contracting opportunities, prepare a package with the following:

• a resume detailing EEO experience (counselors/mediators, identify number of successful resolutions);
• a writing sample (redacted ROI, FAD, or Title VII, et al. brief);
• copies of EEO certifications;
• two professional references;
• a list of agencies that you have provided EEO services to; and
• the number of investigations, counseling, mediations, and/or FADs you have completed within the past two years.
